A born maker, Jefferson Woodruff began his career at age 6 when he began selling his handmade potholders door-to-door in Houston, Texas.
35 years, and 50,000 mobiles later, he is still producing new and inventive work as a metalsmith and jewelry artist. Employing ancient technique like forging, chasing repousse with contemporary materials like Austrian crystals and Argentium silver, the work represents the artist’s philosophies surrounding the balances of the universe.
